The short version: Diskira doesn't collect anything. The long version is below, and it's still short.

What the app collects

Nothing. Diskira runs entirely on your Mac. It has no analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting, no account system. Your file names, sizes, and scan results never leave your machine. We literally don't know you're using the app.

What the app sends over the network

• License validation: if you subscribe, the app periodically sends your license key (and nothing else) to api.diskira.com to confirm the subscription is active.
• Checkout: when you click Subscribe, the app asks our server for a Stripe checkout link. No personal data is included in that request.

What we store when you subscribe

Stripe processes your payment — we never see your card number. Our server stores: your license key, your email address (to send you the key and answer support), your Stripe customer and subscription IDs, and your plan. That's the whole database row.

What this website collects

No cookies, no analytics scripts, no trackers. Standard web-server logs (IP, page, timestamp) are kept briefly for security and then rotated away.

Your rights

Email support@diskira.com to access or delete the data tied to your license at any time. Deleting it cancels your subscription.
